26th Annual CLAM SHUCKING CONTEST

Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, our 26th Annual Clam Shucking Contest was postponed until it was safe to reschedule it.

25th Annual CLAM SHUCKING CONTEST

It may have been drizzling, but rainy weather didn't dampen the spirits of many brave guests who came out to support our important cause. The West Islip Breast Cancer Coalition for LI celebrated its 25th Anniversary Clam Shucking Contest on August 13th, 2019, at Nicky’s On The Bay, Bay Shore Marina, NY. The fun filled day ran from 11am – 4pm, admission was free and there was something to do for the entire family!

Our annual Clam Shucking Contest is the most talked about fundraiser on Long Island, benefiting people who are going through breast and gynecological cancer. This fundraiser raises funds to provide free services for those people.

The show stopper is always the Clam Shucking Contest, but we also had many other highlights, such as a challenging Corn Shucking Contest for the junior crowd, music, food, beer, wine, a HUGE Chinese Auction, special raffles, the Chapey Prize Wheel, and cash raffles. Radio Personality “FINGERS” from WBAB, LIVE ON STAGE carried us through the day one event after the next, accompanied by the “Beach Blender” Brian our DJ, who was great!
