Dawn Dahill is the Lend a Helping Hand (LAHH) and administrative coordinator for the West Islip Breast Cancer Coalition (WIBCC). In her role as LAHH program facilitator, Dawn establishes personal relationships with clients, defining and helping them with both financial and emotional needs. She customizes services to fit the unique needs of each individual. She works directly with grant providers, reporting meeting interviews, and serves as a liaison between vendors and service providers. Additionally, Dawn runs complete office operations for WIBCC.
Before joining WIBCC, Dawn worked for 15 years on Wall Street as a trader and sales assistant dealing with fixed income securities. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in 2001. In her personal time, Dawn has volunteered extensively, serving as a den leader, fundraising chair, treasurer, committee member, leader, and product sales coordinator for both the Boy and Girl Scouts for a total of 13 years. She also served as a catechist for 6 years.
Dawn has a personal connection to breast and gynecological cancers through her family's history. She is currently managing her mother's breast cancer care and treatment. Dawn moved to Babylon from Brooklyn in 2015 and is married with four children. She is committed to supporting and serving her community.
