Supports young adult cancer survivors 21-39 years of age in the U.S. after cancer as they recover from the financial impact of cancer treatment. Average grant is typically in the $1,500-$2,000 range. Two-step process:
1. Step 1 - requires answering questions about cancer experience, current financial situation and grant requests. There are a few short essay questions as well. (time consuming and must disclose significant personal information). Doctors must verify cancer survivorship status.
2. Step 2 - typically 60% of Part 1 applicants are invited to submit part 2, and approximately 50% of Part 2 applicants are selected for funding. The online, two-part application is available twice a year: in Jan. and June and only stays open 4-6 weeks. (Important not to miss that window, as application is not on a rolling basis)

The Triple Negative Breast Cancer Foundation (TNBC) is a nationwide organization that has partnered with CancerCare to offer free, professional support services to patients and families coping with a diagnosis of triple negative breast cancer.
