The West Islip Breast Cancer Coalition for Long Island, Inc. depends on the selfless contributions of volunteers who play a vital role in helping the organization achieve its goals. By offering their time and expertise, volunteers enable the coalition to run its programs effectively and raise funds to support breast cancer patients and survivors.
Help the West Islip Breast Cancer Coalition by spreading the word through various channels such as social media, email, and online forums, to increase awareness about their mission and encourage people to support their cause through donations or volunteer work.
Twelve years ago, the WIBCC had a vision to fly hundreds of flags during the month of October, and together with the help and support of Good Samaritan University Hospital, that vision became a reality. The Pink Flags, now an inspiring annual tradition, offers meaningful pause and reflection for those impacted by breast cancer on Long Island. Personalized ribbons - in honor of or in memory of a loved one - to fly on the flags are always available with a donation to support our LAHH program
We are located on the west side of the building at Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center's Woman's Imaging Center.
