She culminated her career in residential treatment for at-risk girls and adolescent psychiatric care, imbuing her with a profound understanding of the mental and emotional challenges that can accompany physical ailments. Her nursing experience further solidifies her approach to patient care, where she ensures that emotional support and understanding are prioritized alongside medical aid.
Jo-Ann's commitment to service extends beyond her professional life. As a former Girl Scout leader and softball coach, she has demonstrated her dedication to mentorship and personal growth in young women. Her past roles on the parent board at St. Mary's School and the Cougar Club Board at St. John the Baptist High School have further showcased her deep involvement in her community and her unwavering commitment to the welfare of future generations.
